This is strip mall hell!

Presh starts her new job today, so it is my job to buy necessities like a TV. My family did not own a TV until I was in middle school so I am used to being without one. Presh however is suffering withdrawals.

So after dropping her off at work I venture around the city. This place is one big strip mall. I have never seen anything quite like this. How can they all survive?

There are malls surrounding us on each side. In fact the street we live on is entirely filled with strip malls. She calls it convenient. I am in hell.

A word about the weather. 103 is not bad, almost pleasant. 108 is evil and a desert storm as the sky goes grey and the winds pickup is just about the most ominous thing I have ever seen…

That’s one of the things I noticed when I first got here. They truly seem to be on every corner! After a while you just grow numb to them, or you go to Scottsdale.
