There are some city's that have a far worse rate than us - Chicago is just over 7% and the entire state of Michigan is hovering around 8% - it's pretty scary out there! It took me 6 months to find the job I now have and it is a contract job through an out of state temp agency! My husband is in a similar situation and this is very hard on our finances not knowing if the contracts will end from week to week. Finding employment is impossible without it being a contract job and this doesn't help the economy as we are forced to stash our money "in case" As a new Arizonan this is a Horrible trend!
