When I heard that Scottsdale, Mesa and Gilbert made it to the list of the 100 “Best Places to Live” by Money Magazine, it made me think. Aside from the terrifying hot summers, living here isn’t too bad. I’ve always had some ailment or another when I was younger, but since I moved here, I’ve been pretty healthy and haven’t had any major illnesses. The winters are really nice, especially when you can just go up north to Sedona to see snow. The city that I live in has one of the best school systems which is really comforting to know once my daughter goes to school.

I think it is human nature not to realize what a good place you live in until you move or when your city makes it to one of those best places lists. This is true for many other things in life. I should just appreciate what Arizona has to offer. Well… maybe until the list of the 100 “Worst Places to Live” comes out. :D
