I bring greetings from Vancouver. Thanks for the kind welcome and I hope that the readers of this wonderful site stop by Vancouver.
A few things that you might now know about Vancouver:
- we actually have weather and not just rain like you might think. Right now we have fog, which is like rain but not wet. Or like standing in a cloud with no Care Bears in sight.
- Vancouver almost got Wayne Gretzky instead of Edmonton. Had that happened the Canucks would have been a NHL powerhouse. Say hi to Wayne for me by the way, tell him Canada misses him.
- we have good pot. I actually did not realize this until I travelled throughout the western United States and was informed of this fact unprompted in, Washington State, Oregon State, California and Arizona. Is there some kind of pot trade journal that everyone but me is reading?
- we don’t hunt polar bears. Really I’ve only seen them in zoos and I’ve never been in an igloo either.
Anyway thank you for the welcome and I hope everyone here now knows just a little bit more about Vancouver. For even more fun facts come to our site or check your local library, because knowing is half the battle.
