Train to End Stroke

I’ll say it right off the bat, I’m a husky guy, who’s not afraid to sit on the couch and watch tv for hours at a time. Being on a steady diet of chips and goldfish crackers probably doesn’t make you very healthy, and for a long time that was the lifestyle I led.

About 6 months ago, I met my girlfriend Kirsten. She’s very health concious, and before I met her, she had just lost 50 pounds.

Problem was, when we started dating, she picked up some of my bad eating habits and put on some weight. To combat that, she started running twice a day, and working out.

Well she’s doing good with everything, and loves running, so one of her friends signed the two of them up to run a marathon. It’s to support the American Stroke Association, and it’s a nationwide event. There will be a half marathon here in town in November, which is what she’s training for.

Anyways it’s a good cause, and she’s trying to raise some money for it. If you’d like to donate, please click here, and make a pledge. Doesn’t take much. Even if you don’t want to donate, consider attending the event, or maybe even joining it yourself. It’s for a good cause, one I’m sure all of us can get behind.
