The Real Life Medium
Patricia Arquette was recently nominated for an Emmy for her portrayal of Phoenix resident, psychic and criminal profiler Allison DuBois on the NBC drama Medium. Having only seen snippets of this show a couple times, I notice two things about NBC’s version of Phoenix and its residents.
1. Downtown Phoenix suspiciously looks similar to downtown L.A.
2. Patricia Arquette’s Allison wears a lot of sweaters and jackets for someone living in the desert.

They also seem to think that Phoenix is in Mariposa County, instead of Maricopa. I noticed it several times in the 10/24/05 episode.
